Directions To & From Sage Chapel Once On the Cornell Campus

Now that you've made it to campus, here is how to get to our ceremony!

WALKING TO SAGE CHAPEL FROM THE PARKING GARAGE:

Begin walking from the entrance of the parking garage from which you came onto Campus Rd. Cross over Garden Avenue. Walk down the R side of Campus Rd, cross over Hoy Rd/Statler Drive (the Statler will be on your R). At the next stop sign, cross the street (East Avenue), turn R and begin walking. You will pass Sage HALL on your L (not the same as Sage Chapel) and you will see the Statler Hotel on the R across the street as you walk. Before approaching the next building on your L (Day Hall), there will be a pathway on the L (a continuation of the walkway from across the street). Follow the path which is parallel to a small stream on the L. When you see the Campus Store in front of you, bear to the R, go over a small knoll and you will see Sage Chapel in front of you, and its entrance is on your R (red brick building).

WALKING TO SAGE CHAPEL FROM THE STATLER HOTEL:
Turn L upon exiting the hotel looby and follow the path around the large Hercules-like statue to cross the street (East Avenue). Continue walking along the same pathway which is parallel to a small stream on the L. When you see the Campus Store in front of you, bear to the R, go over a small knoll and you will see Sage Chapel in front of you, and its entrance is on your R (red brick building).

FOR GUESTS WHO CANNOT WALK TOO FAR:
Drive out of the Statler parking or the parking garage onto Campus Rd. Turn R at the stop sign onto East Avenue. The first stop sign will be Tower Rd (you can only turn R or stay straight). There will be a building to your L called "Day Hall" - you will go into the driveway on the R immediately after this building (it's a small parking lot). Go down to the very end. Sage Chapel will be the red brick building right in front of you and a much easier walk!

FROM SAGE CHAPEL TO THE STATLER HOTEL FOR THE RECEPTION:
Turn L outside of the chapel. Take the same pathway back up past the Campus Store (on your R) to East Avenue. Cross the street, bear R at the Hercules-like statue and follow around to the Statler Hotel entrance which will be in front of you. Upon entering the hotel, take the staircase in front of you up to the 2nd floor and follow the signs to the Radi/Greenberg wedding reception.

Map to Ithaca and Campus Map

Two maps to get you started on your journey to Ithaca!

First, the map of New York State, with the major roads to Ithaca:

Upstate New York map from Cornell University

Second, a map of Cornell's campus, showing the locations of Sage Chapel and Statler Hotel, which are located near Shoellkopf Field (the football stadium):

Cornell University Campus Map

Sage Chapel is directly across the street from the Statler Hotel, which provides easy access to the fesitivites. There is additional parking available in the parking structure between Hoy Field (baseball), and Shoellkopf Field (football) for those of you coming from other hotels or to town for the wedding.

Hopefully this will help with directions and planning the trip to Ithaca.
